Komad is known for her interdisciplinary practice, which encompasses a wide array of mediums including painting, sculpture, installation, and video art. Through her innovative approach and diverse materials, Komad explores themes of identity, technology, the environment, and social issues. She received her artistic education at the Hochschule für Angewandte Kunst (Academy for Applied Art) in Vienna, where she studied stage design and graphics under the mentorship of Marko Japelj. Continuing her studies at the Akademie der bildenden Künste Wien (Academy of Fine Arts Vienna), she specialized in mixed media under the guidance of Franz Graf. Komad’s artistic achievements were recognized by the City of Vienna with an award in 2014. Her work is garnered international claim and is featured in numerous collections and museums worldwide.
